February 17, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87122 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM), saw La Cueva's basketball squad overcome Farmington by a tally of 73-65.
With the victory, La Cueva improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Bears host Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Golden Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 18. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 13-7. Eldorado won 64-55 in their recent non-league challenge against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Scorpions confront the Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 18. Farmington will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 68-50 non-league loss to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM).
