The Caliche Buffaloes (Iliff, CO) basketball nipped the visiting Briggsdale Falcons (Briggsdale, CO), 50-45 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Buffaloes (6-13) will now prepare for their test against Wray (Wray, CO). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Wray got by Wiggins (Wiggins, CO), 53-38, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Prairie for a non-league test on Thursday, February 22. Briggsdale will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 44-29 league win over Weldon Valley (Weldona, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-10.
