The Northern Highlands Highlanders (Allendale, NJ) basketball edged the visiting Paramus Spartans (Paramus, NJ), 71-66 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Highlanders now possess a 17-7 record. They play next when they host Hackensack for a Big North - National bout on Thursday, February 20. Northern Highlands will play a Comets team coming off a 69-54 league loss to Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ). The Comets record now stands at 11-9.
