New Jersey High School Basketball - Northern Highlands trounced by Hackensack
February 20, 2025: Allendale, NJ 07401 Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Northern Highlands Highlanders (Allendale, NJ), 74-52 in a league match.
With the victory, Hackensack advances its record to 12-9 on the year. The Comets travel to Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ) to face the Marauders in a non-league match on Thursday, February 27. The Marauders enter the match with a record of 8-12. Mount Olive won 60-59 in their recent non-league match against Roxbury (Succasunna, NJ)
The Highlanders now own a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cliffside Park for a non-league match on Saturday, February 22. Northern Highlands will face a Raiders squad coming off a 69-36 non-league loss to Memorial (West New York, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 12-11.
