The Ridgewood Maroons basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Northern Highlands Highlanders to 53 in the Maroons league triumph on Thursday.

The Maroons now have a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Ridgewood will confront a Lions team coming off a 61-33 non-league loss to Central Jersey College Prep (Somerset, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Northern Highlands falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Dwight Morrow (Englewood, NJ) to confront the Maroon Raiders in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Maroon Raiders go into the game with a record of 3-4. Dwight Morrow won 89-71 in their recent league game against Fort Lee (Fort Lee, NJ)
