The Paw Paw Pirates basketball squad (Paw Paw, WV), was outscored 65-47 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Union Tigers (Mount Storm, WV)

With the victory, Union advances its record to 8-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV) to meet the Warriors in a Potomac Valley A battle on Friday, February 21. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 4-12. Pocahontas County lost 92-39 in their recent league battle against East Hardy (Baker, WV)

The Pirates now own a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hancock for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 22. Paw Paw will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 63-37 non-league loss to Union (Mount Storm, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 7-9.
