East Hardy Cougars (Baker, WV) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Union Tigers (Mount Storm, WV), 55-32 in a league match.

With the victory, East Hardy upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Cougars travel to Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV) to face the Bulldogs in a Mason-Dixon match on Friday, February 7. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 10-3. Tygarts Valley won 49-28 in their recent league match against Notre Dame (Clarksburg, WV)

The Tigers now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paw Paw for a Potomac Valley A match on Friday, February 7. Union will face a Pirates squad coming off a 104-68 non-league loss to Turkeyfoot Valley Area (Confluence, PA). The Pirates record now stands at 5-11.
