Tygarts Valley Bulldogs (Mill Creek, WV) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Union Tigers (Mount Storm, WV), 48-44 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Tygarts Valley advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Tucker County (Hambleton, WV) to face the Mountain Lions in a Potomac Valley A match on Friday, December 20. The Mountain Lions enter the match with a record of 1-0. Tucker County won 59-45 in their recent non-league match against Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD)

The Tigers now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paw Paw for a Potomac Valley A match on Friday, December 20. Union will face a Pirates squad coming off a 74-48 league loss to East Hardy (Baker, WV). The Pirates record now stands at 1-2.
