The Pocahontas County Warriors basketball squad (Dunmore, WV), was outscored 43-30 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Union Tigers (Mount Storm, WV)

With the victory, Union advances its record to 11-10 on the year. The Tigers travel to Pendleton County (Franklin, WV) to meet the Wildcat in a non-league battle on Friday, March 7. The Wildcat enter the battle with a record of 10-10. Pendleton County lost 76-56 in their recent non-league battle against Musselman (Inwood, WV)

The Warriors now own a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Hardy for a non-league battle on Friday, March 7. Pocahontas County will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 68-51 non-league win over Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV). The Cougars record now stands at 17-5.
