West Virginia High School Basketball - Union holds off Highland
December 10, 2024: Mount Storm, WV 26739 The Union Tigers basketball team scored 43 points and limited the visiting Highland Rams to 39 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Harman for a Potomac Valley A challenge on Friday, December 13.
In their next game, the Rams battle the Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Highland will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 66-38 non-league loss to Bath County (Hot Springs, VA).
