Maryland High School Basketball - Our Lady of Mount Carmel nips John Carroll
February 20, 2024: Bel Air, MD 21015 Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD), 65-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Our Lady of Mount Carmel upgrades its record to 23-9 on the season. The Cougars travel to Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 22. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 19-8. Archbishop Spalding won 69-51 in their recent non-league bout against Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD)
Next up, the Patriots play the St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 1. John Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 22-12 record after their 63-62 non-league loss to Glenelg Country (Ellicott City, MD).
