New Mexico High School Basketball - Taos holds off Los Alamos
February 20, 2024: Taos, NM 87571 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) and the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), saw Taos's basketball squad hold off Los Alamos by a tally of 58-55.
With the victory, Taos improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM) to confront the Sundevils in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. The Sundevils come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Espanola Valley won 64-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM)
Next up, the Hilltoppers confront the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 23. Los Alamos will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record. The Elks/Elkettes come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 38-33 non-league win over Moriarty (Moriarty, NM).
