Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sandhills/Thedford Knights (Dunning, NE) and the host Anselmo-Merna Coyotes (Merna, NE), saw Sandhills/Thedford's basketball squad wallop Anselmo-Merna by a tally of 70-44.

With the victory, Sandhills/Thedford improves its record to 16-7 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Sumner-Eddyville-Miller (Sumner, NE) to play the Mustangs in a D2 District 8 challenge on Thursday, February 23. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 18-5. Sumner-Eddyville-Miller won 75-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Elba (Elba, NE)
