West Virginia High School Basketball - Hoover gets by Winfield
February 21, 2023: Clendenin, WV 25071 The Hoover Huskies tipped the visiting Winfield Generals basketball team by a final score of 61-59 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Huskies face the Clay County Panthers (Clay, WV) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 23. Hoover will attempt to move on its 14-6 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 3-16 record after their 55-34 non-league loss to Ritchie County (Ellenboro, WV).
With the defeat, Winfield moves to 13-9 on the year.
