The Western Boone Stars basketball squad (Thorntown, IN), was nudged 57-53 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Cascade Cadets (Clayton, IN)

With the victory, Cascade advances its record to 13-8 on the year. The Cadets travel to Southmont (Crawfordsville, IN) to meet the Mounties in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 25. The Mounties enter the battle with a record of 15-6. Southmont won 51-40 in their recent non-league battle against Fountain Central (Veedersburg, IN)

The Stars now own a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fountain Central for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 25. Western Boone will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 51-40 non-league loss to Southmont (Crawfordsville, IN). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-16.
