In Friday's non-league test, the Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS) softball squad overwhelmed the host Falkner Eagles (Falkner, MS), by a tally of 20-15.

Next, the Bears meet the New Site Royals (New Site, MS) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 22. Alcorn Central will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Royals go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Thrasher (Booneville, MS).

The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Hickory Flat (Hickory Flat, MS). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Hickory Flat was routed by Walnut (Walnut, MS), 20-1, in a non-league test.
