The Biggersville Lions softball squad (Corinth, MS), was routed 11-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS)

With the triumph, Alcorn Central improves its record to 11-10 on the year. The Bears travel to Wheeler (Wheeler, MS) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Monday, April 7. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 13-5.

The Lions now hold a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Tremont for a 1A Region 1 contest on Tuesday, April 8.
