The Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS) softball the host Wheeler Eagles (Wheeler, MS), 6-4 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Bears now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Albany for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 10. Alcorn Central will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Independence (Independence, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Wheeler moves to 13-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Thrasher (Booneville, MS) to encounter the Rebels in a 1A Region 1 outing on Thursday, April 10. The Rebels come into the outing with a record of 6-11. Thrasher lost 12-2 in their recent league outing against Baldwyn (Baldwyn, MS)
