In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Potomac Falls Panthers basketball team scored a tight 55-54 triumph over the Albemarle Patriots.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Stone Bridge Bulldogs (Ashburn, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 24. Potomac Falls will attempt to move on its 20-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 15-11 record after their 48-45 non-league win over Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA).

With the defeat, Albemarle moves to 22-5 on the year.
