Merino Rams (Merino, CO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Wiggins Tigers (Wiggins, CO), 63-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Merino upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Rams travel to Wray (Wray, CO) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 25. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 15-6. Wray won 66-37 in their recent non-league bout against Holyoke (Holyoke, CO)

Next up, the Tigers play the Holyoke Dragons (Holyoke, CO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 25. Wiggins will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 11-10 record after their 66-37 non-league loss to Wray (Wray, CO).
