The Merino Rams topped the host Caliche Buffaloes basketball team by a final score of 61-44 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Rams face the Stratton Eagles (Stratton, CO) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 21. Merino will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 6-3 record after their 58-50 non-league win over Eads (Eads, CO).
