East Thunderbirds (Cheyenne, WY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Central Indians (Cheyenne, WY), 36-22 in a league bout.

With the victory, East upgrades its record to 21-3 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Campbell County (Gillette, WY) to play the Camels in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 2. The Camels come into the bout with a record of 7-14. Campbell County won 48-40 in their recent league bout against Thunder Basin (Gillette, WY)

Next up, the Indians play the Natrona County Mustangs (Casper, WY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 2. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 10-11 record after their 53-45 league win over Sheridan (Sheridan, WY).
