Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Colon Magi (Colon, MI) and the visiting Concord Yellowjackets (Concord, MI), saw Colon's basketball squad knock off Concord by a count of 61-47.

With the victory, Colon upgrades its record to 19-2 on the campaign. The Magi travel to Mendon (Mendon, MI) to play the Hornets in a Southern Central challenge on Thursday, February 29. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 18-2.

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Springport Spartans (Springport, MI) in a Big 8 challenge, on Tuesday, February 27. Concord will attempt to upgrade on its 16-4 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 58-1 league win over Maple Valley (Vermontville, MI).
