Michigan High School Basketball - Concord nips Springport

January 18, 2024: Concord, MI 49237

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Concord Yellowjackets (Concord, MI) and the visiting Springport Spartans (Springport, MI), saw Concord's basketball squad hold off Springport by a count of 47-43.

With the victory, Concord upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Union City (Union City, MI) to play the Chargers in a Big 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Union City lost 61-33 in their recent league challenge against Quincy (Quincy, MI)

Next up, the Spartans play the Quincy Orioles (Quincy, MI) in a Big 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Springport will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Orioles come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 61-33 league win over Union City (Union City, MI).
