Wisconsin High School Basketball - Mineral Point thwarts New Glarus
February 24, 2025: New Glarus, WI 53574 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) and the host New Glarus Glarner Knights (New Glarus, WI), observed Mineral Point's basketball team knock off New Glarus by a score of 63-43.
The Pointers (24-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI). The Panthers come into the Southwest Wisconsin Activities challenge with a 8-15 record. In their last challenge, Iowa-Grant was knocked off by Lancaster (Lancaster, WI), 83-63, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Glarner Knights encounter the Wisconsin Heights Vanguards (Mazomanie, WI) in a Capitol - South challenge, on Thursday, February 27. New Glarus will attempt to improve on its 11-13 season record.
