The Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) baseball got by the visiting Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC), 4-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lee County for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. Triton will clash with a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Apex (Apex, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Cape Fear drops to 1-1 on the year. The Colts travel to West Johnston (Benson, NC) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 2-0. West Johnston won 9-1 in their recent non-league challenge against South Columbus (Tabor City, NC)
