The Lake Norman Wildcats baseball team scored 1 runs and held the host South Mecklenburg Sabres to 0 in the Wildcats non-league win on Thursday.

The Wildcats now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hough for a non-league test on Friday, February 28. Lake Norman will play a Huskies team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, South Mecklenburg drops to 0-1 on the year. The Sabres travel to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Friday, February 28.
