The Fairmont Senior Polar Bears basketball team scored 83 points and limited the visiting Philip Barbour Colts to 42 in the Polar Bears league triumph on Thursday.

The Polar Bears now have a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to Nitro for a non-league game on Saturday, March 1. Fairmont Senior will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 82-79 non-league loss to Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, Philip Barbour falls to 6-14 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Braxton County (Sutton, WV) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, March 7.
