February 8, 2025: Fairmont, WV 26554 In Saturday's league test, the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Elkins Tigers (Elkins, WV), by a score of 70-55.
Next, the Polar Bears encounter the North Marion Huskies (Farmington, WV) in a Big Ten test, on Tuesday, February 11. Fairmont Senior will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Huskies come into the test with a 7-8 record after their 52-49 league win over East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV).
The Tigers (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Lewis County (Weston, WV). The Minutemen come into the Big Ten test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Lewis County was knocked off by Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV), 84-65, in a non-league test.
