The Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Nixon Mustangs (Laredo, TX), 66-58 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Buccaneers (29-5) will now prepare for their test against Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 34-4 record. In their last test, Veterans Memorial notched a victory over Rouse (Leander, TX), 46-44, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 25-12 record.
