In Friday's non-league test, the Natchitoches Central Chiefs (Natchitoches, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Logansport Tigers (Logansport, LA), by a tally of 16-3.

Next, the Chiefs clash with the North DeSoto Griffins (Stonewall, LA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 1. Natchitoches Central will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Griffins go into the test with a 4-2 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA).

The Tigers (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Haughton (Haughton, LA). The Buccaneers go into the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Haughton was routed by West Monroe (West Monroe, LA), 16-1, in a non-league test.
