In Thursday's non-league match, the host Natchitoches Central Chiefs softball team scored a tight 3-2 win over the Stanley Panthers.

The Chiefs (13-15) will now prepare for their match against Pineville (Pineville, LA). The Rebels come into the non-league match with a 28-5 record.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Winnfield Tigers (Winnfield, LA) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 14. Stanley will attempt to better on its 20-7 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 11-15 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Parkway (Bossier City, LA).
