Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Central Catholic Eagles (Morgan City, LA), 19-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Joseph's Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. Ascension Catholic will battle a Redstickers squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Brusly (Brusly, LA). The Redstickers record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Central Catholic falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Lutcher (Lutcher, LA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2.
