Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host University Hawks (Morgantown, WV), 49-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Morgantown upgrades its record to 17-5 on the season. The Mohigans travel to Princeton (Princeton, WV) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 11-14. Princeton won 36-34 in their recent non-league game against George Washington (Charleston, WV)

With the defeat, University moves to 16-8 on the year.
