Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) and the visiting University Hawks (Morgantown, WV), saw Parkersburg South's basketball squad hold off University by a tally of 81-77.

With the victory, Parkersburg South improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Weir (Weirton, WV) to confront the Red Riders in a Freelance challenge on Wednesday, December 14. The Red Riders come into the challenge with a record of 1-2.
