March 1, 2025: Lecompte, LA 71346 Rapides Mustangs (Lecompte, LA) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Hornbeck Hornets (Hornbeck, LA), 16-3 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Rapides advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Avoyelles Charter (Mansura, LA) to battle the Vikings in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 4. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 4-3. Avoyelles Charter won 4-3 in their recent non-league match against Glenmora (Glenmora, LA)
The Hornets now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pickering for a non-league match on Monday, March 3. Hornbeck will battle a Red Devils squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Avoyelles (Moreauville, LA). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-5.
