The Hoover Tornados triumphed over the visiting St. Mary's Academy Belles softball squad by a count of 15-5 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Tornados play the Lawndale Cardinals (Lawndale, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 4. Hoover will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 20-0 non-league loss to Bishop Conaty-Loretto (Los Angeles, CA).
