In Saturday's non-league test, the Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Mangham Dragons (Mangham, LA), by a count of 11-1.

Next, the Lions meet the LaSalle Tigers (Olla, LA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 1. Ouachita Parish will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 3-1 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Vidalia (Vidalia, LA).

The Dragons (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Ruston (Ruston, LA). The Bearcats go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Ruston toppled Choudrant (Choudrant, LA), 11-1, in a non-league test.
