In Monday's league contest, the host North Marion Huskies basketball team scored a big 81-42 triumph over the Grafton Bearcats.

The Huskies (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Weir (Weirton, WV). The Red Riders go into the non-league contest with a 6-16 record. In their last contest, Weir was trounced by Brooke (Wellsburg, WV), 39-30, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Elkins Tigers (Elkins, WV) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 7. Grafton will attempt to better on its 2-17 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 11-10 record after their 52-37 league win over Preston (Kingwood, WV).
