The Cypress Creek Cougars softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Cypress Lakes Spartans to 2 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Cypress Creek moves its record to 8-8 on the year. The Cougars travel to Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX) to clash with the Bobcats in a 6A Region III District 17 game on Tuesday, March 7. The Bobcats come into the game with a record of 6-13. Cy-Fair won 11-0 in their recent non-league game against Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX)
