Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Cypress Park Tigers (Cypress, TX), 18-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cypress Falls for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. Cypress Creek will face a Eagles squad coming off a 17-2 non-league loss to Klein Oak (Spring, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Cypress Park falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to New Caney (New Caney, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 4. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 7-7. New Caney lost 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Cypress Ranch (Houston, TX)
