The Memorial Mustangs softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Cypress Creek Cougars to 7 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Memorial improves its record to 14-8 on the year. The Mustangs host Northbrook (Houston, TX) to clash with the Raiders in a 6A Region III District 17 game on Tuesday, April 4. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 4-9. Northbrook lost 11-1 in their recent league game against Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX)

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Stratford Spartans (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 17 game, on Tuesday, April 4. Cypress Creek will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Spartans come into the game with a 12-7 record after their 6-4 league loss to Jersey Village (Houston, TX).
