Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX) and the host Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX), witnessed Memorial's softball squad tip Cypress Creek by a count of 7-3.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Fort Bend Elkins for a non-league match on Thursday, February 23. Memorial will face a Knights squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX). The Knights record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Cypress Creek moves to 2-2 on the season. The Cougars host Clear Creek (League City, TX) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Thursday, February 23. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 2-2. Clear Creek won 17-7 in their recent non-league match against Montwood (El Paso, TX)
