California High School Baseball - Gunn can't hold off Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory

The Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Gunn Titans to 5 in the Fightin' Irish non-league victory on Monday.

The Fightin' Irish (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln (San Francisco, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Lincoln was nudged by Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA), 8-7, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Gunn falls to 2-2 on the season. The Titans travel to Menlo School (Atherton, CA) to encounter the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Menlo School won 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA)
