Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), saw Palisades's baseball squad knock off Ashbrook by a count of 12-5.

Coming up next, the Pumas play the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 7. Palisades will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Sabres enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 13-7 non-league win over East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
