North Carolina High School Baseball - Central Davidson defeats Wheatmore
March 6, 2025: Trinity, NC 27370 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) and the host Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC), saw Central Davidson's baseball team gain a win over Wheatmore by a tally of 12-6.
The Spartans (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against East Davidson (Thomasville, NC). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, East Davidson was overwhelmed by Ledford (Thomasville, NC), 9-4, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Wheatmore drops to 2-3 on the year. The Warriors travel to Trinity (Trinity, NC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, March 11. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 5-0. Trinity won 8-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Western Alamance (Elon, NC)
