North Carolina High School Softball - Forest Hills knocked off by Piedmont

March 6, 2025: Marshville, NC 28103

In Thursday's league test, the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) softball squad overwhelmed the host Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC), by a tally of 23-0.

Next, the Panthers meet the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 7. Piedmont will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Cavaliers go into the test with a 3-0 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Butler (Matthews, NC).

The Yellow Jackets (0-5) will now prepare for their test against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC). The Colts go into the Rocky River 2A/3A test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, West Stanly was routed by North Davidson (Lexington, NC), 4-1, in a non-league test.
