In Thursday's league match, the visiting Central Academy Cougars softball team scored a nice 17-2 win over the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets.

The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Metrolina Christian Academy notched a victory over Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC), 19-4, in a league match.

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets battle the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 17. Forest Hills will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Stallions come into the match with a 7-0 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC).
