The Forest Hills Yellow Jackets softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Monroe Redhawks to 2 in the Yellow Jackets league win on Thursday.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkwood for a Rocky River 2A/3A battle on Tuesday, March 25. Forest Hills will confront a Wolf Pack team coming off a 12-9 league win over Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Monroe moves to 1-8 on the season. The Redhawks travel to Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to confront the Stallions in a non-league battle on Monday, March 24. The Stallions come into the battle with a record of 10-0. Queen's Grant won 13-0 in their recent non-league battle against Langtree Charter Academy (Mooresville, NC)
