Louisiana High School Softball - Sumner bounces Salmen
March 7, 2025: Slidell, LA 70451 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Sumner Cowboys softball team scored a nice 15-0 win over the Salmen Spartans.
The Cowboys (11-1) will now prepare for their match against Vidalia (Vidalia, LA). The Vikings come into the non-league match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Vidalia was routed by Buckeye (Buckeye, LA), 15-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Spartans confront the Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets (Mt. Hermon, LA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 8. Salmen will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Varnado (Angie, LA).
